The Game has Changed
If you don’t know, I’m a huge Apple fan. Yes Apple, Apple Computers(Sorry you window guys). With all the rumors going around about the impending Apple tablet, it got me thinking. I like to think of new technologies applications in the Church setting, since that is where I work and play. So I was brain storming what kind of exciting new technology this could bring people. Imagine a program that is coded just for a tablet, where one could get the text that the speaker is referencing, maps that pertain to the message, personal notes, chronological information, videos, audio files, everything at your finger tips! All this done with an elegant interface, and pertaining to the message. Going further what if you integrate Google into the application, like Google Wave. The audience could then ask questions, and get answers in real time. Allowing the audience not only listen but to interact with the speaker, no matter how big of an audience. This all allows the audience to be a integral part of the organization, and when people feel that they are part of the organization it fosters growth. In the church setting not just personal growth but spiritual. The tablet is like a digital book. One that will change the game.
