Whitestone Motion Pictures has been on my radar for awhile, for one because I am in absolutely in love with the colors, original scores, and philosophy behind the way Whitestone tells stories (and yes I try and emulate them on a certain level
. Their newest short film “Heartless: The Story of the Tin Man” starts off where “Alabaster” left off, great imagination, sick shots, and a good story line. I love the fact that Whitestone (part of 12 Stone church based in the Atlanta area) does movies the right way, doing things with quality and excellence. My only knock with the film is the fact that the actors lines in some parts needs more passion, and/or the audio needs more refining. Other than that, love the film, and will most defiantly buy it and show it to my friends (held a screening party with friends when I got Alabaster) and I urge you to do the same. We should all support people like Brandon McCormick (director and writer) who are using their talents to challenge people, so I encourage you to grab some Whitestone gear, with me, and rock it with pride! “Heartless” will be released May 1st, 2010.
(And just to tell you guys know, I’m not connected to Whitestone or 12 Stone Church in any way)
